DVD - FAQs
How to start your DVD: Your DVD should open automatically in the DVD Player included in your computer's software, such as Windows Media Player, Real Player, Power DVD or many others 1. I have a new DVD and it doesn’t start automatically. How to check if your NEW DVD, CD or video tape arrived faulty... We use high quality recordable DVDs and reliable duplicators, AND we regularly check a sample DVD from each batch by playing a sample section before sending it out to customers. If very occasionally a faulty DVD slips through the net, we do apologise. Simple checks: Look at the title of the DVD as it appears in your ‘My computer’ menu. Occasionally a DVD has not been duplicated properly, and will show as ‘Blank DVD’ in the menu. Try it in another machine, e.g. computer, DVD player. For fault-finding, it's useful to know if it plays on some machines and not others. Try another DVD (or CD, video) in the same machine; if other DVDs work, and your new one doesn't that suggests we've sent you a faulty item (Sorry). Next step: If your Early Start pack was delivered with a faulty or blank DVD, please 'phone 01304-362569 within 30 days of receipt and arrange to post it back for an immediate FREE replacement, to:- Contact details HERE.. 2.
